Guillermo Resto

DD as he’s known studied ceramics and life drawing at The Center for Creative Studies in Detroit.

Followed by a dance /performance scholarship to Marygrove College in Detroit .

A scholarship to Alvin Ailey Dance Company brought him to New York where he danced with numerous modern dance companies including Mark Morris Dance Group.

A tour with Morris and world renowned cellist Yo Yo Ma took him to Japan where he made prints of industrial manhole covers in the streets and alleys of the cities in which he performed.

He continued printing around the world on tour with the dance group and continues to this day.
